Words from the Kids' EE National Coordinator

 Joshua 1:9
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

I want to thank and praise God for what He's done for KEE ministry in Malaysia in 2009! It has been a busy year indeed for KEE but the joy of knowing that many had been blest after attending the clinics and having caught the vision of reaching out to more children had surpassed all toils and efforts that the organizing teams had unselfishly put together for all the successful clinics. May God richly bless each one of you who had in some way contributed to the 5 clinics held this year. You may be the organizing committee, team leader, prayer partner or helper; in whichever way, I want to thank you for being our partners in KEE ministry. Without your imput, our clinics would probably not be the same.

The last clinic we had for this year was in Johor Bharu hosted by Gereja Presbyterian Johor Jaya led by Pastor Jessie Hong. Once again I saw the great teamwork among people from different churches. They gave out their best, sacrificially gave their time and went the extra miles to make the clinic a success. Many of them had to take care of their young children or babies but that did not deter them from coming to serve God and others. I salute their sincerity and faithfulness in this KEE ministy. I prayed that God will truly shine through their lives so that they will continue to be a blessing to many others. They are role models to the young children they are training, showing them what it is like to serve God sacrificially. May the clinicians that came after their steps will also serve unconditionally in their local semester training.

On 23-24 November, we trained 4 KEE trainers to be Clinic Teachers. All of them came with a mission to be equipped to train others, not just locally but beyond the Malaysian borders. It was a great privilege for me to be among partners who are so sure of their callings. They are responding to God's calling to be the harvesters among the whilte fields. Let us all continue to pray for one another so that many more will have the chance of being trained in KEE.

On 25-28 November, we trained 17 clinicians that came from several churches. I was glad to see 2 brothers among the 17 clinicians. I took the opportunity to emphasize on praying for more brothers to be involved in KEE ministry.

The 2 OJTs were done on the last 2 days of the clinic. The first being conducted in 2different children homes. There were many boys in one particular home and this reminded me that more brothers are needed in situation like this. We saw that children in this home have more needs especially in the area of love and care. May the good news that we shared with them bring them hope and faith towards each new day. The 2nd OJT was in 2 Children Fellowships in 2 different churches.

The overall OJT result is as follows:
Propects-63
Christians-5
Assurance of Faith-1
Accepted-54
Rejected-3
Result: 95%

Let us rejoice with the angels above when we come to the end of 2009! Let us continue to uphold KEE ministry in our prayers; that in 2010, there will be more F.A.T. (faithful, available and teachable) brothers and sisters to join us and that God's Kingdom may continue to expand as more children get the chance to hear the gospel because someone responded to God's calling to fulfill the Great Commission. Let us continue to serve unceasingly so that whatever we do, let God's Name be glorified!

Wishing you all a very blessed Christmas & A Happy New Year!

In Christ we serve,
