What is Hope for Kids (H4K)?
H4K has been called the "most exciting" thing to come along in children's ministries in 30 years! Why? H4K is a discipleship training program for children that clarifies the truths of the Gospel message and shows them how they can share it with others.
H4K is based on the belief that kids can share the Gospel and it is the responsibility of parents and pastors of the church to teach them how to do so. We believe the Great Commission is for everyone, not just adults or even youth. H4K lays a foundation for spiritual growth in children and enables youngsters to respond with excitement and enthusiasm to Jesus' command to all of us to be His witnesses. It develops a world-view that is framed by the recognition that without faith in Jesus we are all lost in our sins.
This is truly a family-friendly outreach ministry. As one of our elders noticed, "It is one of the few ministries in which every family member, from baby to parents, can participate."
God is reaching the world through H4K and He is inviting kids to the harvest field.
From Shy to Shine for the Lord AND Humble Start to Hope for Kids ….
From 1st to 4th June, 2011, we run a H4K Local Training and completed 12 lessons, teaching and training16 trainees from our Sunday School mainly from Primary 5 and 6.
On the 1st day of June, when the trainees came to register, they were shy and very quiet. After 4 days of training, we saw how God open up their hearts to share the Gospel to their friends, relatives and neighbours. God planted in the children a Heart to Change the world. Infact, God is putting the largest population harvest base of children into the young ones who are trained in this Ministry.
Over, the 4 days, we saw the lives of 16 trainees including us , team leaders and teachers, changed to be more like Jesus. We learned together as we study the words of God. Through the training the confidence level of trainees has moved from shy to shine sharing the gospel for the Lord.

Over the 4 days, the trainees learn gospel truths and at the same time fun, games, music, skits, the H4K presentation of the Gospel, and exposition of the Word, designed to reach young children.

Kids can share the Gospel if they have the tools that enable them to defend their own faith, and share with others the Good News of salvation through Jesus Christ.
On the Job Training
We had shared to 30 children in GMC and 25 prayed to receive Christ as their personal Saviour. The training had not ended, we will proceed to share to many more kids in the coming weeks and months. For the Great Commission is for a life time….
God Bless and Pray for us as we unite to work in the harvest field among the children in the world.
